Constructing a sacred wheel is an act of deep prayer. Every item is chosen using the felt senses rather than the mind. Stones, feathers, moss and shells; sage, bones, soil or fresh flowers, all are welcome here.
Some days these wheels are are lavish and overflowing with growth and color. On others they are monochrome and bare.
They are a reflection of my energy. A mirror more honest and truthful than the one hanging on my wall.
They are an act of divination,
both portal and anchor,
and symbol of my presence to honor the tradition of celebration of communication and union between Spirit and man; Father Sky and Mother Earth and all the dreamers in between. It creates a safe space my spirit can rest upon. And for that I am deeply grateful.
